Project Overview

We undertook the role of providing construction management and inspection services for two concurrent construction contracts. The first contract involved the construction of two pre-engineered metal storage buildings, which entailed the creation of new structures inclusive of drainage systems, utility relocations, site development, and wetlands mitigation.

Simultaneously, the second contract focused on the comprehensive renovation of an existing print shop located on the same site. This renovation encompassed roofing, HVAC system upgrades, asbestos abatement, and the execution of new interior fit-out work.

Our general responsibilities spanned from the pre-construction phase to project closeout. These duties included on-site inspections of various construction elements, approval of construction materials, review of shop drawings, processing of RFI’s (requests for information), resolution of on-site issues, handling payment processing, and negotiation of change orders.

Key members of our Naik management team played a crucial role in establishing program protocols and controls for NJTA’s $450 million improvement initiative, which involved advancing construction at more than 25 sites, ensuring a consistent and efficient approach across the program.
