We are providing construction inspection and management services for critical repairs at the RFK Bridge, including concrete deck and substructure repairs to ensure structural integrity and the replacement of a curtain wall for durability and safety. Our team prioritizes quality control, safety compliance, and stakeholder coordination to minimize disruptions and ensure efficient completion.
RK-70 Phase 2 will address repair needs at the former Manhattan Plaza, where inspections revealed spalled concrete and structural deficiencies requiring repairs. Emergency shoring was installed for deteriorated concrete pedestals at the south widening, which now need permanent repairs.
Additional work includes steel repairs for web cope cracking on the Bronx Truss and other priority repairs identified in biennial inspections. The Queens-to-Manhattan ramp’s east curtain wall, enclosing the RFK Maintenance Garage, has severe deterioration, requiring full replacement of a section and spall repairs.
