Project Overview

Our team holds responsibility for overseeing a project aimed at enhancing Third Avenue, spanning the stretch between Possumtown Road and Hancock Road. These improvements encompass several key elements, including the expansion of the existing roadway to accommodate increased traffic flow. Additionally, the project involves the construction of new curbing along both sides of the roadway, complemented by the installation of uniform four-foot-wide sidewalks. These sidewalks are thoughtfully situated behind a four-foot landscaped grass buffer strip, enhancing the visual appeal of the area.

Furthermore, the scope of this project encompasses the meticulous design and implementation of ADA-compliant pedestrian curb ramps, which are integral to promoting accessibility. To ensure proper drainage and overall functionality, drainage improvements have also been integrated into the project’s design.
