Mr. Tan has over 30 years of experience in administration, management, design, inspection and construction of complex civil / transportation engineering projects focusing on structural engineering, He has been responsible for performing and managing the analysis, design and preparation of contract plans and specifications on various engineering projects, specifically for highway and railroad bridges. His experience also includes long multispan span bridges, culverts, retaining walls, sign structures and foundation designs, in accordance with AASHTO standards. He has a thorough knowledge of NJTA and NJDOT Procedure Manuals, and has received training in Load Resistance Factor Design (LRFD) and seismic analysis. Mr. Tan has an MBA from Montclair State University and a Bachelors and Masters of Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.  He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the States of New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Florida.
