Senior Civil Engineer

Naik Consulting Group, PC is seeking a civil engineer with an emphasis in highway and roadway design. The successful candidate will be supporting our Civil Design Services group located in our NYC office. The work will employ principles including surveying, geometrics, utility coordination and relocation design, hydrology and hydraulics, stormwater management, cost estimating, and transportation engineering while using applicable Microstation and AutoCAD design software. The candidate will be involved in and complete all phases of infrastructure project development. The candidate will report directly to the Director of Civil Engineering.
Requirements

The position requires a BS in Civil Engineering, 8+ years of experience; the ability and desire to work in a team environment; sound oral and written communication skills; excellent organizational skills; proficiency in CADD (Microstation and InRoads and AutoCAD Civil 3D), and Microsoft Office Suite; experience in the production of plans, specifications, and engineer’s estimates for roadway projects for NYSDOT, NYCDDC, and NYCDOT; a firm grasp of roadway engineering skills such as geometric design, grading, permitting, coordination with utility companies and the production of utility schemes of accommodation, roadway drainage design, 3D roadway modeling, etc.

A PE or the ability to obtain a PE license within 2 years preferred.
