The preferred candidate should have a solid and diverse background in managing transportation projects, specifically with the South Eastern Transportation Authority (SEPTA).

The selected candidate will plan, develop and be responsible for all phases of Project Development and Management, including but not limited to scope development, contract negotiations, cost control, staff management, quality control and cash flow management, tracking, and other Ad-Hoc duties. The individual will actively manage our client budgets, schedules, and overall programs, including being the point of contact for all communications and documentation. Additionally, this person will represent Naik at various industry and networking events in the effort to enhance our market brand. The position will be located in the Philadelphia office.

The successful candidate will also work in conjunction with our Marketing and Project Delivery Teams and will have wide latitude to identify key hires that will help position Naik for potential business opportunities, propose teaming arrangements to expand our Professional Practice, and act as Naik’s Client Service Leader (CSL) for SEPTA and other PA transportation agencies. They will also have the opportunity to develop, maintain, and nurture established business relationships for our Philadelphia Office.

Required Skills Experience:

A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil or Construction Engineering, 15-20 years of progressively responsible experience on transit and commuter railroad projects; the ability and desire to work independently as a self-starter and collaboratively, have excellent analytical, oral, and written communication skills, and excellent organizational skills. Professional Engineering licensure in the State of PA is desirable. Experience with SEPTA transit projects along with other Philadelphia agencies is highly desirable.
