Michael Cresci

Mr. Cresci has over 37 years of rail and transit experience. Prior to joining Naik, Michael held the position of Assistant Chief Officer at Staten Island Railway where he was responsible for the safe and reliable operation of the Railroad as well as infrastructure management/maintenance including: advanced train control signal equipment, track, third rail and traction power, electrical/electronic equipment installation, information technologies, car equipment, capital construction, safety procedures, stations, finance and procurement.  Several of Michael’s career highlights with MTA/NYCT/SIR include: St. George Signal/Track Reconfiguration, Installation of Four New Power Substations, Clifton Shop Replacement, Installation of the new Arthur Kill Station, SIR Mainline Track Reconfiguration, Rehabilitation of Employee Facilities & Electrical Upgrades at St. George terminal, Station House & Structural Rehabilitation at 10 locations, Flood Repairs on SIR, CCTV/CIS Upgrades to SIR Stations, Amboy Avenue bridge Restoration, MTAPD District 9 Police Facility, UHF Radio Replacement, Enhanced Station Initiative at Richmond Valley Station, Canarsie Line CBTC Implementation, along with many Signals Capital projects in all three NYCT divisions.
